» The second youngest of four girls, Vish was always the "cruise director" who took on the role of corralling her sisters and being the planner. While not the most outgoing of the siblings, she liked to be the mother hen and to this day still plans their family trips and coordinates their weekends home.

» She is a life-long dancer and while she was never serious enough about it to consider making it a career, she still attends classes once a week and does yoga every day.

» Vish likes her job in PR because it satisfies her need to be in control, it lets her do something active and social without being the center of attention, which suits her more personality well. She wouldn't describe herself as an introvert, but she definitely prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Being the person who makes it all happen is where she feels most comfortable, and the part of her job she thrives off the most is the problem-solving and putting out fires, especially when putting on large events.

» She has a bachelor's degree in Communications and a master's in Public Relations, both from NYU. She lives in the city for four years after finishing her master's, but moved down south when she began to feel overwhelmed with the pace of living in the city and wanted a change after the end of a serious relationship.

» At seventeen, she came out as a lesbian to her sisters but didn't tell her parents until the summer before her senior year of college. It was difficult for them to accept at first, and she had a strained relationship with them for several years. It was only the intervention of her eldest sister that finally convinced their parents to invite Vish's long term girlfriend to visit, and their relationship began to mend afterward. While she isn't closeted at work or in her personal life, by nature she takes a long time to reveal personal details to those she works with, clients, or acquaintances, and might not necessarily be out to someone for some time if they do not know her well.

» She volunteers at a women's shelter a few weekends a month, doing admin and providing PR and communications assistance when they ask.

» When she moved to Nashville and could afford a larger apartment, she immediately adopted a Samoyed puppy named Snowball and thoroughly enjoys owning what she calls the most ridiculous dog in existence.
